Our members took part in the District 95 conference. We had a lot of fun at the gala dinner.
Mikaela moderated the event with her charming manner. She did a perfect job and is a role model for everyone.
Brigitte and Stefan were honoured at the District Conference 95 in Duisburg. Both received their awards for good speeches and leadership. Brigitte received it for the fourth time, Stefan for the second time.
The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) is the highest honour one can receive at Toastmasters International. To receive the DTM, members have to complete many projects. These involve public speaking, leadership, mentoring and teamwork. It requires commitment, time and a willingness to develop yourself and support others.
For Brigitte and Stefan, the DTM is not just a personal achievement, but also recognition of their skills as leaders and speakers. Brigitte has now won the title for the fourth time. It shows that she always wants to improve and is committed to her clubs. Stefan received the title for the second time. This shows that he is committed to the organisation and his personal development.
By reaching the DTM again, Brigitte and Stefan have shown that they are continuing to develop. They have a good chance of continuing to be successful in the organisation and beyond. This is because they promote a culture of excellence and mutual respect.
The fun was not neglected. It was a wonderful evening.
